NCTE-NEHS ELA Innovation Award: Celebrate Your Creative Teaching Strategies
The NCTE-NEHS ELA Innovation Award has been developed in collaboration with the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and honors ELA educators who bring creative and impactful teaching practices to the classroom. This award is for members of NCTE and/or NEHS Chapter Advisors who are passionate about finding new ways to engage students in the study of English, whether through project-based learning, technology integration, or other inventive methods.
This award highlights innovative efforts in a meaningful way, displaying creative approaches to teaching on a national level. By being recognized for your efforts, you will inspire both colleagues and students, fostering an environment that values creativity and excellence.

NEHS Professional Support Grants: Fund Your Professional Development
NEHS Professional Support Grants are designed to support Advisors in their own professional development, whether that is attending conferences, participating in training, or investing in resources that can enhance their teaching and leadership abilities.
This grant allows you to choose professional development activities and resources that directly support your goals and challenges. It also provides access to knowledge and skills that you can bring back to your chapter and classroom, promoting a richer educational experience for your students.
