AwardSpring Guide

All submissions to NEHS awards, grants, and scholarships, whether by student members of Chapter Advisors, must be made via the NEHS AwardSpring platform.

Details of available awards, grants, and scholarships can be found on our Calendar of Awards, Grants, and Scholarships page.

Step-by-step Guide to Using NEHS AwardSpring

  1. If this is your first time using AwardSpring, you will have to register for an account with a personal email address that you use regularly (please do not use a school email address) and create a password. On the AwardSpring homepage, scroll down and click on “Register.” If you have applied for an award, grant, or scholarship before, login with your existing email address and password combination.
  2. On the next page, you will see three tabs, “General Information,” “Academic Information,” and “Qualification Questions”. These will allow us to evaluate your eligibility for the awards on offer.
  1. In “General Information,” select your state and your school. You must then click “Next Step.”
  1. In “Academic Information,” complete the questions and then click “Next Step.”
  1. In “Qualification Questions,” complete the questions and then click “Submit Application.”
  1. You will then be shown a page listing the awards, grants, and scholarships you can apply for. Click on each, answer the required questions, and upload any necessary documents.
  1. All information you submit will be automatically saved, so you can return to AwardSpring to complete your application on different occasions.
  1. Remember to click “Submit Application” when you are finished.
