Your role at the Library of Congress:
As an intern, you will:
- Collaborate on an interpretive guide for young audiences accompanying a new LOC exhibit.
- Research LOC collection materials and showcase their stories in creative ways.
- Provide insights on engaging programs for teens and families.
- Earn up to sixty service hours and enjoy exclusive LOC internal discounts.
- Work closely with LOC professionals and gain hands-on experience in librarianship, museum studies, and more.
Key Details:
Application Deadline: February 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
Internship Dates: June 23 – July 17, 2025 (Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. EST).
Eligibility: Open to NEHS student members aged over 16 who are US citizens, permanent residents, or visa holders.
Format: Fully remote or in-person.

- Writing Sample (a piece of prose, max two pages).
