NEHS student members and Chapter Advisors are invited to join an exclusive webinar with TJ Klune, Lambda Award-winning author of Under the Whispering Door, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 4 p.m. (PT), 5 p.m. (MT), 6 p.m. (CT), and 7 p.m. (ET).
This event is expected to fill quickly—registration is free and now open. Designed specifically for student members and Chapter Advisors, the session will explore how Under the Whispering Door uses storytelling to cultivate hope, celebrate queer joy, and model writing with compassion. Through discussion of Klune’s characters, themes of love and chosen family, and his creative process, participants will consider how stories can help readers navigate grief, affirm identity, and imagine more generous ways of being in the world. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation about writing that comforts, challenges, and connects us.
