Update Your Chapter Records
Please take a moment to review your chapter’s information in NEHS Connect and ensure it is up to date. If your school has appointed a new co-Advisor or a new principal, we ask that you update their details in the system as soon as possible. Keeping this information current ensures that all important announcements, resources, and opportunities reach the right people. We also encourage you to check which Advisor is listed as the “Lead Advisor.”
Payment of Annual Affiliation and Membership Fees
Please remember: Payments for NEHS Annual Affiliation Fees and student membership fees should be made either by credit card or by school/district check only. Checks must be made payable to NEHS and mailed to:

Northern Illinois University
Department of English
DeKalb, IL 60115
Please ensure the full address appears on the envelope to guarantee delivery to the Central Office. USPS often loses mail, so it is important that the full address is clearly displayed. When paying by check, a copy of the invoice generated in NEHS Connect must be included.
Please note: checks often take 15 days, from mailing, to arrive and be processed by the Central Office.
Purchasing NEHS Merchandise and Graduation Regalia
Payments for NEHS merchandise and graduation regalia must be placed through Shop NEHS and follow the payment instructions provided there. All merchandise and regalia payments must be made directly to our merchandise partners. Checks mistakenly sent to the Central Office for merchandise orders will cause significant shipping delays. Questions about purchases and shipping should be mailed to shipping@shopnehs.us.
