Nominate Your Advisor for the Outstanding Chapter Advisor Awards

Is your Chapter Advisor someone who goes above and beyond to guide, inspire, and make a difference in your NEHS chapter? Do they foster a supportive environment, encourage you to reach your potential, and actively contribute to the success of your chapter? If so, now is your chance to honor them by nominating them for the prestigious John L. Manear Outstanding Advisor Award!

This award is designed to recognize NEHS Chapter Advisors who demonstrate exceptional dedication, mentorship, and leadership. Named in honor of John L. Manear, one of NEHS’ founding Chapter Advisors, this award celebrates the impact that Advisors have on students and the National English Honor Society as a whole.

A nomination for the John L. Manear Outstanding Advisor Award is a meaningful way to express gratitude to your Advisor and let them know how much they mean to you and your chapter. By nominating your Advisor, you will have the chance to highlight their dedication and achievements, and share with others how they have impacted your growth, your chapter’s accomplishments, and even your wider school community. Recognizing their hard work is a way to ensure that outstanding Advisors receive the appreciation they deserve!

All active NEHS Chapter Advisors who have made a significant contribution to their NEHS chapter are eligible for this award. This includes Advisors who have shown exemplary leadership, engaged and inspired students, and fostered a love for literature and language within their schools.
