Rob Macaisa Colgate Webinar

National English Honor Society student members and Chapter Advisors are invited to a special conversation webinar with Rob Macaisa Colgate, the acclaimed author of Hardly Creatures on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 4 p.m. (PT) / 5 p.m. (MT) / 6 p.m. (CT) / 7 p.m. (ET).

This free webinar will fill quickly. Colgate’s work brings poetry, disability studies, and lived experience together in innovative and deeply human ways. His award-winning collection Hardly Creatures explores questions of embodiment, identity, connection, and what it means to be human, while his verse drama My Love is Water pushes the boundaries between poetry and performance. In this webinar, Colgate will discuss his creative practice, sharing how his experiences as a poet, editor, and scholar shape his writing and offering insight into the processes through which poems and other literary works come to life.

Attendees can submit questions for Colgate during registration for the event.
